This play is
based on Bram Stoker's Novel Dracula first
printed 1897. It is interesting to note that he wrote the story using
Shakespeare's blocking for his plays. Within the
story there are references to Hamlet and then
there are the three brides of Dracula mirroring
the three Witch Hags from MacBeth. Our play is
written using lines extracted from many of the
Bard's plays and some sonnets. It is also
constructed to be fun for the children with
dance and singing routines, and enjoyable for
the audience. We have held such a performance
before, Shakespeare's Frankenstein and, simply
put , it was a big hit.
